Hair Straightening

Brazilian Keratin Treatments

These can loosen the texture of the hair, reduce blow dry time, reduce frizz and add shine.  This is very popular with anyone wanting to wear their hair straight or has a high density of hair.  They generally last up to 4 months, however this is dependent on home care, and holidays.

Texturiser

This is basically a mild relaxer (permanent loosening), whenever it comes to lye and no lye texturisers we always fully base the scalp and hairline to mitigate against burning.  Care is always taken to understand your hair type and your desired result in order to ensure the correct amount of time is allocated for processing and combing and/or smoothing.  We also use a pre-texturiser treatment to help protect the hair whilst processing and to protect against over processing.  Once thoroughly washed out, a reconstructor is applied of which reduces the alkaline content of the texturiser.  This also acts a mini treatment.  This will then be rinsed off and your hair thoroughly shampooed twice, and finally conditioned.

Texlaxer

Using relaxer as the base, and mixing the relaxer to a different strength we then apply oil in to the mixture creating a texlaxer (permanent loosening). Whenever it comes to lye and no lye texlaxers we always fully base the scalp and hairline to mitigate against burning. This works particularly well for people who always wear there hair straight but need more body and volume, therefore suited to fine and/or thinning hair.  The end result is generally in between a texturiser and a relaxer, although this is determined by the length of time it is on and the amount of combing/smoothing, of which will have been discussed with you prior to application.
